Dear Modeling Scams,

Thank goodness for this site. It no doubt saved me from wasting a lot of money and time.

I was approached Saturday as I walked with my five-year-old daughter through Rittenhouse Square, a very upscale area in Center City, Philadelphia.

The man said he was a talent scout, that my daughter was an exquisite beauty, and encouraged me to make an appointment to come into his office, and check out the agency.

Naturally, every mother thinks her child is beautiful. However, I've never been the type of mom to enroll my daughter in classes or get "headshots" or the like, and my daughter would probably rather make mudpies than get all dolled up and pose for a picture.

Still, I was so flattered that I went online to see if the agency were on the up and up.

The two stories I found on Options Talent were so informative and made me feel silly for wasting any time on the thought.
