Dear Modeling Scams,

My daughter was approached in Ybor City, Florida, at a festival.

The gentleman said that his boss would be interested in seeing her because she had that "look."

She was very excited about this -- we went to the open call the next night.

They told us about the $20/month charge, and that if we were not fully satisfied at the end of a year, they would give us two years free.

They proceeded to take her measurements, take photo shots of her, give a presentation, and then an exit interview, where they set up a phone interview for the next day.

LUCKILY -- we came across this website and found out about the scam -- just in time.

They called as we finished reading a letter from a mother in Tampa, Florida (where we are), describing the SAME thing we went through.

We did not find out about the $600 starting fee until we read the brochure.

When the phone rang, my daughter was so upset, she did not want to speak to them.

I told them we found out they were a scam, and the voice of the person on the other end cracked, and he said, "OK," and hung up.
